2. Remember the "Golden Rule": Treat others the way you wish to be treated. This also goes
for other people's property.
3. Do not leave large props unattended or in areas that block traffic.
4. Roughhousing and running around the room are not allowed.
5. Do not hug or glomp another person unless you have asked for permission to do so.
6. DO NOT bring your own food and drink into the room! Food from concessions is allowed if it
is not near the consoles.
7. Keep food and drinks away from the consoles, controllers, games, and other peripherals.
8. Do not damage, abuse, mishandle, or break any of the games, controllers, consoles, or
other peripherals.
9. If you lose any of your property, please check with OPS. All lost items will be turned in to
OPS.
10. DO NOT STEAL. If you are caught stealing anything from the room, you will be evicted
from the convention and charges will be pressed against you.
11. M-rated games are not allowed at any time in the room. NO EXCEPTIONS!
12. Make sure your hands are clean before you touch the controllers.
13. If you have won a game three times in a row and there are other people waiting to play,
offer the controller to someone else. This also applies to the DDR dance pads.
14. If you are the only person playing a game at the moment, you are more than welcome to
keep playing until someone else wants to play.
15. Be mature; do not employ any cheating or underhanded tactics in an attempt to ruin
someone else's game.
16. Mocking, name calling, and anything else that can be considered offensive to someone
else is not allowed.
17. Before you use the DDR dance pads, make sure either your feet, socks, or the soles of
your shoes are clean.
18.When playing DDR, do not stomp on the dance pad.
19. Do not wear high-heels, heavy platform, steel-toe boots, or any other heavy shoe that
might damage the DDR dance pad.
20. If you have a video game and/or memory card with you, and you want to use either one of
them, talk to one of the staff members. However, there is no guarantee that we will be able
to set up your equipment.
21. Do NOT bring your own controllers for the consoles for general play.
22. If you break any of the above rules, three warnings in total will be given. Once the third
warning has been issued, you will be asked to leave.
23. Have any other questions, concerns, or have a doubt about something? Ask a staff
member or volunteer! We're all nice people, and would be happy to clarify or answer anyone's
questions or concerns.
