Our first podcast episode is a discussion of the creation of Anime Banzai with some of the people who founded the convention.  This is a great chance to find out why and how we came to be.

Special Guest Steve Nunez, aka Warky T. Chocobo discusses his past as a convention performer, his history with Anime Banzai, his special projects and shares some fun stories. First-time guest and convention head Jose Cruz discusses his role with Anime Banzai and expresses his unique personal view on the industry. Other guests discuss advertising, panels, cosplay and anime news.

Committee heads discuss convention-related news. A very opinionated news section resulted in some "Editing" to make the episode shorter. These edits total over 45min and will be released in the future. Chris discusses the new video contest, we announce our first wave of guests, how to get into Anime Banzai for FREE, new registration deadline and much more.

Warky's an interesting guy - he's traveled all over the place, bringing his unique style of geekery to the otaku masses. And during all that time on the road, he's amassed some pretty awesome stories. We discuss our love of all things Voltron. Also includes fan-rage and Sony-bashing, and our usual band of miscreants having a good time.

A detailed update of convention deadlines, events, panels, news and contests. Mascot Contest is ending at the end of the month, AMV contest is now up, talk about Security and Volunteers. So much convention information will be discussed from now until October that a new news format will be adopted with this release. From now on a separate podcast with just Anime related news and reviews will be recorded separately at the same time or a few days after.

No news in this episode, it's just amusing BS. We discuss the reason Steampunk is the 2011 theme and go into detail on what Steampunk is. Later the discussion turns toward the fandom and what drives us nuts about it. It's all unplugged in this one, some mild language is used so beware of the crazy.
